1) When any of our POUCH products are working it smells like chlorine or bleach. Is Chlorine Dioxide another name for these products?

No, chlorine dioxide is not chlorine or bleach, it is a chemical compound made up of one part chlorine and two parts oxygen (the formula ClO2.) While chlorine dioxide does have that same "clean" or "crisp" smell that bleach and chlorine have (all are oxidant's which means that they oxidizes the cell wall of a pathogen for kill) ClO2 is far more powerful and safer for you and the environment. ClO2 is more effective against odor causing agents and, equally important, ClO2 does not produce carcinoengic byproducts such as THM’s (e.g. chloroform), as chlorine and bleach do. ClO2 breaks down to salt & water, which is why, in lesser quantities; it can be safely used to purify drinking water.

2) Can I use this product to get the smell out of my house or other spaces?

Use only the product approved for the specific use. This is very important. Each OdorSCIENCE product is EPA approved for specific uses only.

3) What is the difference between OdorSCIENCE products and other odour removal products?

Very simple, there are no competitors! There are some reputable manufacturers who make surfactants or air freshners which simply mask odour however they do not work at molecular-level to control and inhibit bacteria, mold, mildew and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) as OdorSCIENCE products do.

4)  Why are OdorSCIENCE products more effective than other odour destroying products?

First, most products merely cover up odours. Other, somewhat more effective products are surfactants (detergents) that eliminate a few bacteria but have little or no effect on a wide range of bacteria, and certainly not on viruses. Don't be fooled when a product says it kills 99% of all bacteria. We know it is hard to believe, but that is not very effective, as bacteria live in colonies that range in the order of millions.

OdorSCIENCE products are EPA approved broad-spectrum biocide products. This means they can safely and effectively be used to destroy or eliminate viruses, fungi, mold, mildew, and spores as well as control and inhibit the growth of bacteria which cause odour. Our products eliminate up to 99.9999%. This is what really makes the difference.

5)  What should I know about safely using and handling of OdorSCIENCE products?

First and always, vacuum up debris and/or clean the soiled area very well. Please safely dispose any material that may have caused the odour. Example; urine, vomit, milk spill, etc...  The area that was cleaned should be dry before applying OdorSCIENCE products. This ensures proper application & successful results.

When using our Auto Immunity product, we recommend keeping the vehicle out of direct sunlight during the application. Once application is complete, open windows on vehicle & place the vehicle back into direct sunlight.

OdorSCIENCE products are very safe when used as directed. Please follow instructions. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Our products are designed to be USED AS DIRECTED thus reducing any problems.

6)  Will the leftover chlorine smell go away?

Yes, direct sunlight and even moving warm air will rapidly decompose any remaining chlorine smell. What will be left is an ODOUR FREE SPACE. If you need quicker results, phone us for our NEW rapid neutralizer spray product. It will eliminate the chlorine smell instantly!

7)  How do I dispose of OdorSCIENCE products after application?

OdorSCIENCE products are ECO FRIENDLY. Simply dispose our products in the normal garbage.
